Mood Swing choreographed by Alexandra Clancy and Jeffrey Dawson uses the relationship between rhythm, music, dance, and human nature to explore storytelling and delve into the connection with oneself and others. This work was developed during the Small Stage Artist in Residence Program and is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts as well a grant for rehearsal space from the Vancouver Tap Dance Society.

A collaborative tap and music work exploring vulnerability, rhythm, and authentic connection through duet and ensemble performance.

This work co-composes original music and arrangements with tap dance and bass both individually, as a duo, and in interaction with a larger ensemble, featuring piano and trombone. Bending is an exploration of space. This work brings attention to space both audibly and visually. We play with our physical space, exploring proximity to one and other, to the members of the band, and within ourselves.
